my world, my true

"i fear
no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you"

  • I have so many drafts in my folder right now it’s sad. Blogging has definitely taken a back seat, and I’m bummed about it pretty much every night as I fall exhausted into bed around 11 pm without a single extra moment to spare. So I’ve decided to, as they say, “make” time for blogging from here on out (and no, I don’t mean hitting “share” on instagram)…let’s see how long I can keep this up. Here’s a real (albeit short) post I’ve been meaning to publish for quite some time.

    This was a while ago, but Knox has become very taken with classic fairy tales within the last several months. The Three Little Pigs & The Three Bears are probably the top two on his list, and, one day we decided to set the stage for some wonderful imaginative play and this is what happened.

    {the beginnings of a sad straw house}

    {making Piggy some friends}

    {abstract portrayal of The Three Little Pigs}

    HOURS , and I do mean hours, of fun were had with this idea. There was also pine straw strewn about my house for weeks, but, hey, it was worth it. A big bad wolf blowing down houses just never gets old.
